Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response,

is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine.

A form of paresthesia.

Deep states of meditation activate this response.

A sensorial response that can last a couple of hours post meditation.

A shifting of light vibration or 'tingling' in various locations at the back of the head.

'ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin".

The work itself -  a focal point of the meditation session itself.

An analysis of consciousness, experience, compassion and being.
